From Sensei Ramon Hernandez

Hi there, My name is Ramon Hernandez, Head Instructor at North Jersey Judo Martial Arts Center located in Pompton Lakes, NJ and I’m excited you’re on this page.

Since we’ve opened our doors in 2006 we’ve helped our members to Train, Believe and Achieve in themselves not just in the Martial Art of Judo but also in the realm of better fitness levels, self-defense and most important the better one’s self or loved one.

As a Judo Instructor there is no great reward for me when I see my NJJers grow not just in their Judo Skills but also grow in person development.

As Tony Robins puts it: THE JUICE IS IN THE JOURNEY!!

Along the way we’ve helped 5 NJJers reach the goal of obtaining their Black Belt not to mention some competing on the local, regional, junior national and national level. It’s not easy but it’s awesome when we see the Juice….Yes that Growth that makes our Journey worth the blood, sweat and tears we put into it.

All this doable when we help you develop:
– The Confidence
– The Discipline and
– That Self Respect that is Yes….Unshakable

My family and I invite you to come check it out for yourself. You’ll feel that overwhelm you when you walk onto our mats and put in your 60 or 90 minutes of work. When you feel that sweat poor down your head you’ll know.
